  • The Radical Innovation Student Project winner will receive $5,000 and the opportunity to apply for an Assistantship and full Scholarship from our University Partners:

    The University of Las Vegas Nevada (UNLV) offers the student design winner the opportunity to apply for an assistantship to their Masters of Architecture program.  

    The University of Illinois offers a Teaching Assistantship to their School of Architecture to a qualifying student winner.

    NYU allows for the Student Winner to apply for a partial or full scholarship for a graduate degree from the NYUSPS Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality.

  • The Radical Innovation Student Product winners will receive $2,500, and the opportunity to attend The Makerspace at Black Fire Innovation.

    Radical Innovation has a once in a lifetime opportunity for the Student Product Winner to attend the invitation-only Makerspace at Black Fire Innovation, a resource of the UNLV Office of Economic Development.

The collaborative initiative with our university partners extends our reach of education, research, and community engagement beyond the walls of our industry and showcases the power of academia and philanthropy.

  • We have established scholarship and assistantship programs providing the competition winners with access to quality education, empowering them to pursue their dreams and introduce them to a community that they might not have access to.

    Each year, the staff at our current University partners determine if they want to offer the student winners the opportunity to apply for a scholarship and/or an assistantship. The University manages this process. All of the student winners are extremely talented and forward-thinkers. To date, each University has offered the scholarship/assistantship opportunity to every student winner.

  • Various universities have integrated the Radical Innovation competition into their course curriculum. The competition allows students to use what they have learned through their schooling and apply it to real-life, challenging them to think outside the box.

  • The easiest way to get involved is by promoting the call for entries to your current students and alumni. We are always looking for more entries and ideas! Provide your students and alumni with exposure to the hospitality and travel industry’s movers and shakers, creating valuable connections and opening the door for the student’s future to advance their ideas and careers.
